One of only two castles you can stay in in Switerland
Our family room worked out well for the three of us but again, if you have to get up in the middle of the night, navigating stairs and walking down a hall to go to the bathroom was not ideal. You have to bring your room towels to the bathroom with you since there are no cloth or paper-towels to dry your hands with. I forgot my hand towel more than once.
Neo was a great host and was very helpful. He was multi-lingual and very personable.
The ambience in the breakfast room was disappointing. There were about 5 fake animal heads including a unicorn. It just didn't feel authentic and was distracting from the beauty of the castle and surrounding dining room.

Zwischenstopp
auch sehr schön gelegen.
Als Ausgangspunkt für Fahrten zum Rheinfall, Stein am Rhein und Konstanz
fanden wir es ideal.
Frühstück war etwas einfach gehalten
aber auf Wunsch gab es lecker Rührei und Wurstplatte.
Wir waren zufrieden.

Tolle Gastfreundschaft im Schloss
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und anschliessend in unser schönes Zimmer geführt. Wir waren begeistert vom hervorragenden Essen. Sehr kreativ, was der Vater mit seinen Söhnen in der Küche auf die Teller zaubert.
Wir können das Schloss Schwandegg vorbehaltslos weiter empfehlen.
