Great experience!

Very nice hotel, very clean, wonderful staff and good quality breakfast. Coffee was pretty good too!
Kanesha was working at the front desk when we arrived and took great care of us. She was absolutely wonderful! We would definitely stay there again.

A Hostel Experience Meets IKEA

We're Hilton Honors members but this is the first time we've stayed at a Tru brand property. Except for the sign, it was hard to tell. The lady working the reception desk when we arrived was very nice and helpful. Our room was ready when promised and it was clean. The emphasis appears to be on "quirky." Some quirks that I could have done without: barebones furnishing (no closet, coffee maker, etc.). Think IKEA clearance stuff. The mattress was not the super comfy Hilton standard that we've come to expect and love. Most annoying was the incredible lack of water pressure/volume in the shower. Average budget hotel breakfast. On the plus side, the location is great. Easy to the airport, convention center/auditorium and interstate. Few dining options in the area, but not a bad drive into Charleston for that. If Hilton was shooting for a barebones, downmarket concept property, they've succeeded.

This place was great ! Very friendly staff and the room was clean . Beds were comfy . Close to shops and restaurants.

Second stay in this hotel. Your average Tru. Trus are my go-to and this is a solid option. So minor repairs are needed to the check in counter, but room was nice. Would stay again.

I like this hotel chain. My only issue is the water is not hot and just shy of lukewarm. Other than that everything is comfortable and accommodating.
