Had a very nice stay at Hampton Inn & Suites. My son was disappointed there were no omelets on the last morning of our stay.

The first front desk staff member was fantastic—super friendly and engaging. The room had a unique layout, with the closet located inside the bathroom, and the TV was positioned at an awkward angle. The checkout time listed on Hotels.com was 12 PM, but the actual checkout time was 11 AM. We weren’t aware of this, and the cleaning crew was extremely rude about it while also reeking of weed.
Additionally, the hotel had a sign stating they offer complimentary personal items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hairbrushes if needed, which was a nice touch if they actually had any. I went downstairs to see if they had an extra toothbrush but they were all out. Also, despite advertising a pool, it was not open during our stay. Given that we paid $175 per night, this was disappointing.

Homeless people live at this hotel and are coming and going in their pajamas. They leave for a few minutes and then come back. Very unsafe place. Do not use this hotel. Very strange hotel. There are no doors that close in the room to the bathroom.

Thank you for staying with us and finding the time to leave a review. We have guest staying with us who wear pajamas because they feel safe and comfortable, here at the hotel, just like home. We do not house the homeless here. Please be respectful and mindful of other guests staying with us. Again, thank you for your feedback.

I really liked it but one thing, the smell of room freshener or cleaning products was overwhelming in our first room, I had to ask if I could move. The front desk guy let me try 3-4 other rooms and finally I found one that was ok. The bathroom floor was sticky like they cleaned it with cleaner then didn’t wipe it off. Everything else was good, the bed was completely comfortable and clean. The breakfast lady was nice and the food was much better than I expected; it was better than most all of the other chain hotels I go to . Most importantly they let me bring my two dogs and the front desk guy was the friendliest front desk guy I remember ever having, except one other hotel.

Very clean hotel, beds comfortable, could have eaten off tub it was so clean. Enjoyed a nice hot bath. The sliding door to the bathroom was awkward and heavy though. It didn't close completely or lock, just a strange design. The breakfast was adequate but more healthier/gluten-free options would make it even better. Our room phone was broken from start and room service was only offered every other day, which for a 2 night stay, we didn't get to benefit. Pool was OK but would have like to see a hot tub, especially for this winter trip.
